November 9th. At tie Siow. There was glorious weather on “ People’s Day ” at the Show, and a great attendance. His Excellency the Governor and Lady Islington were present during the afternoon. By the New Plymouth express from Wellington in the morning, a large' party- of members of Parliament came up, including Alessr®.
