TRYING IT ON! Mr. Asquith: Now, my dear, I propose making you a general annual allowance, but if you can save anything out of it you may pay something towards the general upkeep. The Home Rule Bill stipulates that if Ireland can pay her way for three successive years, then arrangements will he made for her to enjoy the privilege of paying her share towards the Navy, the Army, the National Debt, and the support of the Crown.
