A few street toilettes I have noticed lately included: Mrs. R. Davis, wearing a grey velvet corduroy eoat and skirt, squirrel toque, with cluster of violets, squirrel fur and muff; Miss Irene O’Brien. Auckland, navy coat and skirt, squirrel fur and muff, suede navy felt hat lined with rose pink; Miss Armstrong, saxe blue eoat and skirt, large hat with saxe blue wings; Mrs. A. Barraud, slategrey eoat and skirt, black fox fur and muff, small black hat witl; cream feather mount ; Miss Dorothy Waldegrave, navy coat aud skirt, seal hat with cluster of small pale blue satin berries; Mi-s Barnieoat, cream serge coat and skirt, large blaek satin hat with pale blue ospreys; Miss W, Watson, fawn tweed eoat and skirt, grey fur and muff, brown felt hat, the brim caught up in front with a cluster of golden brown flowers; Mrs. Clere, navy

Waldegrave and Miss Trixie Waldegrave 'have returned from Wellington. Sir*. Geoffrey Potts is hack from Auckland. Miss Reed paid a short visit to Wellington la*t week. Mrs. Louisson has gone to Auckland" for a fortnight or so. Mrs. H. Cooper has returned from Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. R. K. Reed leave for Gisborne shortly. Their second son, Mr. King Reed, is to be married on August 20 to Mis* Daisy Bright, of Gisborne. The im’itat ions are issued for the marriage on August 21 of Miss Trixie Waldegrave and Mr. G. ( . Keeble, both of Paßnerston. Arr.‘ and Mrs. Goring Johnston have returned from Wellington.
