July 13th. Rin king Party. Dr. and Mrs Elliot Meade gave a most pnjyoable “Rinking Party” at the Grosvenor Hall, on Thursday afternoon. The

far end of the hall was arranged as a drawing-room. Delightful music was plaved by Derry’s orchestra. A dainty afternoon tea was served, the tables being tastefully decorated with pink and white chrysanthemums and heath. Miss Thelma Peterson gave a most enjoyable concert, assisted by some of our local talent. Those who took part were: — M:-<s Urquhart, Mr. A. ■Rose, Dr. J. F. Bennett, and Blenheim Liedertafel.
