The Weight of Brains.
While the weight of the individual brain in each particular species, as compared with that of the entire system, may he said to have some bearing on the intelligence of the individual, there is no fixed proportion between the weight of the brain and the total weight of the body, as between one species and another, as is shown by the following table:—
