Hands, mauve crepe de chine and cream lace. Social. A social in connection with the Church of England was held in All Saints' Schoolroom on Tuesday night. It was largely attended, and a great success in every way. music and dancing passing the time all too quickly. The Rev. and Mrs H. G. At the Theatre. Apart from the picture theatres, we have had no entertainment at night for seme little time; but this is a great pic-ture-loving community, crowds attending the different shows nightly. Reed, on their way home to Gisborne. Air and Mrs S. Reed have just returned from their honeymoon trip to Sydney. Airs Driver (Dunedin) is staying witli her daughter, Airs J. McGill, for the winter. Airs A. Guy has gone to Hawke’s Bay. Aliss Alma Guy has returned from a visit to Wellington. Airs and Aliss Alorrah go to Hastings on Tuesday for a short stay. Aliss Alorrah is to come out at a ball in Hastings on Wednesday next, the 12th inst. Aliss Alison Barnicoat lias returned from a visit of some weeks to Wellington. Airs Alaurice Cohen left England on June, 7th on her return journey to New Zealand. Mr Cohen goes to Sydney to meet his wife. Airs and Aliss Joseph. Wellington, are* the guests of Afrs F. J.
