The first round of the dub championJhip. played last week between Dr. Ross >nd B. j. Smith, resulted in th? latter being 2 up on his opponent at the end of the round. Smith took 78 and Ross 79 for the round. The annual dub foursomes played on the Kime day resulted as follows;—Tv. J. find Errol Smith (handicap 2}, 1 down; Rattray and Stronach (3), 2 down; Milne >nd Lough (9), 2 down; A. Todd and G. I’odd (4). 3 down; McArthur ami I Jaw 17), 3 down; Gully and Barnett til), 3 Sown; Dowling and Edmond (12), 8 wn.
