The annual training camp of the 4th (Walkaton) Mounted Rifles was held this year on the Rotorua Racecourse, and was not only a success, but the men enjoyed the event immensely. This was the biggest mounted camp that has been held in the Dominion, the total strength revealed by the parade slates being 573 of all ranks, of which 100 were infantry casuals, the rest being mounted men belonging to the regiment.
