THE SYDENHAM OFFER OF BULBS, ETC.
COLONIAL EDITION. IVe have received a c-opy of the interesting little booklet issued to Colonial buyers of bulbs by thia enterprising firm. Evidently the export trade from England in daffodil bulbs has assumed fair proportions as evidenced by the special offer made by’ Messrs. Pearson, Sydenham, and others, in order to capture our business. Messrs. Sydenham say they have hundreds of correspondents in Australia and New Zealand, and we quite believe this, for the genial head of this firm takes a real live interest in his business, and when he gets a customer takes every care to keep him by fair dealing and liberal treatment. The firm also offers a valuable series of special prizes at the chief exhibitions in New Zealand to those purchasing bulls from them. Auckland and Dunedin already have taken advantage of this offer, and we commend it to the attention of other societies in the Dominion. The list of daffodils offered is a comprehensive one. and each variety is described and classified, and its merits for exhibition indicated. The prices for the choicer varieties are in many cases very much reduced from last year's quotations, and many of these good things are now within the r.each of people whose parse is not overfilled.
