College Tennis Dauce. A small dance was given on Thursday night toy the Canterbury College Tennis Chib in Miss Cox’s assembly rooms, which was greatly enjoyed by those present. Children’s Dance. A vliildren’s dance was given on Thursday evening by Aliss Bennett at Cashmere Hills. The drawing-room was used for dancing, and the verandah was gaily dt corated and lit up with Chinese lanterns. Aloreland, widow of the late headmaster of C hrist’s College Grammar School, who is shortly leaving Christchurch for England, was presented by the schoolboys with a handsome travelling secretaire. Loughnan (Avenside) has returned to U hristchureh from Invercargill. Miss Sanders (Christchurch) is staying with Mrs. C. C. Cook at Marton.
