A few among the hundreds I noticed were —Mrs. Strange (Masterton) in'a. pretty grey frock with touches of cream laee and silvea, black hat with pink noses; Mrs. Twigg, grey silk frock with touches of green and cream lace on bodice, black hat with, large green bow; Mrs. A. Fitzlierbert, lovely -frock of pale lavender silk, with handsome trimming, black Ira.t; Mrs. Barton, white frock, white hat with pink roses; Mrs. Atkinson, white linen coat and' skirt, blue hat; Mrs. Millar, grey eoat and skirt, black hat; Mrs. Grierson (Dnnnevirke), black and white frock, black plumed hat; Miss L. Haybittle, cornflour blue froek, hat to match; Miss Innes Jones; white muslin froek, black hat; Mrs. Lane (Marton) 1 , black taffeta frock, black hat; Mrs. Leithbridge, black and white froek, grey hat; Mrs. Turnbull, white frock, grey coat, black hut; Miss Ballinger (Wellington), pretty blue frock, largo black hat; Mrs-. Meyrick, black and white costume, black hat; Miss Meyriek (England), fa.wn coat and Skirt, black plumed hat.

Perional. Mrs. McAlluni' amt family are staying in Foxton for a few weeks. Mrs. C’blvilTe, who has been staying ■with, her mother,, Mrs. Peat, has gone to her new Home in New Plymouth. Miss Kerr (Wanganui) is the girest of Mrs. Millar. Mr. and Mrs. Woollaius and family have returned from- Christchurch.

Miss Walpole, who has been staying with, her sister in Muwenr. lias returned.

Miss Brandon tWellington), is the guest of Mrs. Innes .tones. Mrs. and Mias -Millar, who have been staying in Wellington, have returned Mrs. Alymer is the guest of Mrs. MoAHum at Foxton. Mrs. Harrison (Wanganui) is th® guest of- Mrs. Peat.
