A Fantasy.
A rosy sun-kissed cloud had lost its way. And wandered lonely o'er the fields of heaven; Its radiant brightness turned to pearly u-ey. And with chill grief Its golden heart was riven. Without the suu It could not choose but weep. And raindrops fell and mingled with the deep. And you had lost your way tn life’s long maze; Lonely you wandered, silent and forlorn. Until your eyes met mine, nnd in that gaze Was all the sun and all the joy of morn. Since then together we have climbed life's steep— The sun Ims drawn the raindrops from the deep. : > —M.P.
