NOTICE OF LICENSING POLL AND NATIONAL PROHIBITION POLL

AND OF TIME AND PLACE FOR SELECTION OF FIT PERSONS 'l'o APPOINT .SCRUTINEERS THEREFOR. In pursuance of “Tiro Licensing Act, 1908,’’ and the Amendments thereto, 1, JAMES GARTSIDE CULPAN. Returning Officer for the EDEN LICENSING DISTRICT, do hereby give notice that on tlie 7th day of December, 1911, tlie day appointed for taking the Electoral Poll for tlie Electoral District of EDEN, simultaneously therewith a Licensing Poll will be taken upon the following proposals: — I VOTE FOR LOCAL RESTORATION. I VOTE FOR LOCAL NOLICENSE. And concurrently with the taking of the said Licensing Poll there will be submitted for the determination of the electors of the said Licensing District the question whether National Prohibition shall come into force throughout New Zealand. The question will be submitted in the following form:— I VOTE AGAINST NATIONAL PROHIBITION. I VOTE FOR NATIONAL PROHIBITION. Nominations of persons to appoint Scrutineers in accordance with “Tlie Licensing Act, 19W8,’’ mid tlie Amendments thereto must lie lodged with me not later limn 5 o'clock in the afternoon of the 30tli day of November. 1911.
