An Afternoon An anagram afternoon was given by the Afissos Greensill for Miss Scot, who is leaving the hospital month, and shortly to be .married. Quit-v a collection of kitchen articles were presented on the occasion. Miss Edwards won first prize for evolving names of flowers from the jumbled letters, and Miss Bragg the second prize. Miaa Hilda Burton, late of the Dun ci in Hospital, has been appointed matron ■of the Pieton Hospital, vice Miss Scott, who resigned on account of her approswhing marriage. Mr. and Mrs. Philpotts have returned from a visit to Seddon. Captain Burgess has returned from a visit to Sydney. Mr. and Mrs. Atkins are away on a holiday to Christchurch. Mr. Hunter has returned to Picton.
