June 3. Complimentary Social. Members of the Church of the Nativity congregation assembled in the Sundayschool room on Thursday evening to wel tome Rev. de Lambert and Mrs. de Lambert. Adams has returned from a short visit to Wellington. Bishop Mules (Nelson! is the guest of Ven. Archdeacon Grace, and Mrs Grace, “The Vicarage.” Miss Barlow, who has been the guest of Mr and Mrs B. Barlow, has left for Brisbane. Miss Baigent, who lias been the guest of Mr and Mrs D. Strachan. “Cowley” has returned to Nelson. Mrs 11. Burden has returned from Nelson, accompanied by the Misses Leslie (2). Mr and Mrs Davies left Blenheim on Tuesday for a trip to Auckland before settling down in Nelson. Miss Giblin, who has been the guest of Mr and Mrs S. Canavan, has returned to Nelson. Mrs Menlove and Mrs Thomas (East Coast), are spending a few days in Blenheim. Miss Philpotts, who has been the guest of Mrs Geo. Seymour, has returned to Pieton. Mr. M. Butt (Wellington), is the guest of Mr and Mrs A. Rogers, “Eltham Lodge.” Mr. and Mrs. C. Scott. “Cromwell,” have been visiting Mr and Mrs R. Scott, “Springlands.’' Miss Urquhart is visiting friends in Wellington.
