A very pretty wedding was solemnised st New "Plymouth on Wednesday, April Stith, when Miss Ethel Maud Leatham, •Ideal daughter of Dr. and Mrs H. Leatbani. was married to Mr Percy T. Prichard, of Dannevirke. Rev. F. G. Evans officiated, assisted by Rev. Vt ilkin•on. Mr W, Saxton acted as beet man, •nd Mr A. Bewley as groomsmen. The church was prettily decorated by Mrs and Miss K. Hamerten. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked very handsome in a gown of rich ivory satin, with tunic of ninon edged with a fail of Chinese point lace, the corsage being draped with same, finished with a yoke of silvered net. Over a wreath of orange blossoms fell an antique Indian lace v< il. lent for the occasion by a school chum and she carried a sheaf of white roses, c smea. and maiden hair fern. She also wore a handsome pearl ring, tlie gift of the bridegroom. The two bridesmaids, Misses Constance and Kutha Leatham (sisters of the bride) wore charmeuse veiled in silk fisher net. deftly finished with rich cream lace. Juliet caps finished with tiny pink roses, and they carried lovely bouquets of pink eosmea and chrysanthemums

After the ceremony a wedding breakfast Was held at Mrs Bewley’s, aunt of the bride. During the afternoon the happy couple left by motor car en route for Wellington -where the honeymoon is to be spent. The bride’s travelling dress was a nattier blue striped cloth coat and Skirt, cream silk vest, hat finished with cord and loops of ribbon. Mrs Bewley received her guests in a handsome black taffetas braided, cream lace vest, pretty saxe blue hat; Mrs Leatham wore a charming robe of dark amethyst silk eolienne, trimmed with silk embroidery, yoke of a lighter shade of fucked chiffon, heliotrope hat trimmed ■with shaded brown ospreys, shower bouquet to correspond; Miss Maginnity (Nelson), handsome bottle green velvet caught in below the knees with stitched band of velvet, zouave braided with a lighter shade, cream lace yoke, green straw hat wreathed with pink roses, pink shower bouquet: Miss Blundell, reseda green eolienne. black hat lined with white, scarlet bouquet; Mrs G Kebbell. dainty amethyst peau-dc-soie veiled in silk net, with edging of marrow ruehing. black hat with wings: Mis PridJiam was much admired in an elephant grey velvet, cream lace vest trimmed with cream and green flowered embroidery, black velvet turban toque; Mrs Saxton, saxe blue shantung, trimmed with narrow black braiding, black feathered hat: Miss Saxton, pale grey ninon over a cerise foundation, trimmed with cerise bands and touches of lace: Miss S Webster, pale heliotrope taffetas, black hat wreathed •with tiny pink roses; Mrs Wylie, prunelle coloured costume, cream laee vest, toque en suite: Mrs Kyngdon looked handsome in black chiffon taffetas, black hat trimmed with white tulle, shower bouquet; Miss Kyngdon, rose pink satin striped voile, cream lace yoke, brown hat trimmed with velvet and pink roses, pink shower bouquet: Mrs Newton King, goldien brown charmeuse, relieved with pale blue chiffon scarf, brown and cream hat; Mrs Rogers, black silk: Mrs 0. Cornwall, heliotrope cashmere de soie, black hat; Miss Lepper, pretty heliotrope silk, cream tucked net yoke, blaek feathered hat, shower bouquet: Mrs Cowper looked extremely handsome in a French blue eolienne over taffeta, faced with blaek, black feathered hat; Mrs Wingfield, black silk relieved with white, black and and white hat: Mrs (Dr.) Fookes looked charming in blaek satin striped eolienne over a glace foundation, trimmed with silk lace insertion, lightened with pale blue pipings, blaek feathered hat: Mrs Whiteombe. black and white muslin, blaek feathered toque: Miss D.
