DIRECTOR OF GEOLOGICAL SURVEY. The appointment of Director of Geological Survey, in succession to Dr. Bell, has been conferred on Mr. Percy G. Morgan. M.A. who for some years has been on the staff of the New Zealand Geological Survey. From 1897 to 1905 he was Director of the School of Mines. Waihi, and in 1896 was on the staff of the Thames School of Mines.
