March 23. Personal. The Bishop of Nelson and Mrs. Mules have returned from the West Coast. Mrs. Hayter and Miss Hayter have returned to their station at Fairlie. Captain Orme Webb, with Mrs. and Miss Orme Webb, have sailed from Wellington, en route to the Old Country. Miss Tolmie and her niece, Miss Margaret Haggitt, have arrived from their visit to Dunedin. Air. F. W. Hamilton, who has been on a visit to Sydney, returned to Nelson this week. Dr. and Mrs. Barr are visiting friends in New Plymouth. Mrs. Thomas Cullen and Mrs. W. Rout have gone for a visit to Dunedin. The Rev. Father Goggon, who is to take charge of St. Mary’s Church, has arrived from Wellington. Sir R. Lockhart and Lady Lockhart are visiting Nelson. Mrs. W. Tomlinson (Waimate) is visiting her sister, Mrs. Henderson (Takaka). Mr. A. S. Lawrence, of Oxford University, has been appointed to the teaching staff of Nelson College, in place of Mr. 11. Skinner. Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Huhne, of Christchurch, are visiting Nelson, having driven overland from Blenheim.
