March 11. Children’s Picnic. Mrs. Carr gave a very enjoyabic children’s picnic in the bush on Friday last. Among the young people I noticed: —• Misses P. Carr, D. Leiven, R. InnesJones, P. Goodbehere, N. Cotrili, Nancy Coti-ill, M. Atkinson, B. Roberts, JV. Gorton, N. Fitzherbert, C. Fitzherbert, Masters Roberts, Gorton, Woolhvms, Carr, Leiven.
Personal. Mrs. Woodward is the guest of Mrs. Gillespie. Mrs. Seavil (Auckland) is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Atkinson. Mrs Prior and her daughter have gone to Muritai for a fortnight. Mrs Simms is the guest of Mrs Evans. Miss Coleman (Christchurch) is the guest of Mrs Evans. Mrs Chalmers (Auckland) who has been staying with Mrs. long, has returned to her home. Mrs. Stewart, who has been spending a few days in Wanganui, has returned. Miss Levett (Kiwitea) is spending a long holiday in the South Island. Miss P. Jones and Miss Pierce (Wellington) who have been the guests of Mrs Jacob (Kiwitea) have returned. TUI.
