During the heavy easterly blow which prevailed on the coast during Saturday and Sunday week an exceptionally big sea was rab. d. and visitors at Takapuna Bea.di had the unusual chance of indulging in genuine surf bathing. Our illustration gives an idea of ihe’si/.e of the rollers which were coming in.
