January 5. Waikato Mounted Rifles. The team sent away to Palmerston to the military tournament by the Waikato Mounted Rifles was most successful, winning three firsts and three seconds in the various events. Sergeant Ranstead came second in the lemoncutting competition. They are to be congratulated upon their success. Person aL The Rev.
