December 27. ’’Sweet Nell of Old Drury.** Miss Nellie Stewart appeared in the I own Hall on Wednesday and Thursday evenings in her most successful production, “Sweet Nell of Old Drury.” The atti ndance the second evening was not .so good as that of the first, probably duo to the wet. but all those who availed themselves of the opportunity of seeing this performance enjoyed it immensely. Bell, Misses Booth (2), of Nelson, are the guests of Dr. and Mi's. R. Adams, Maxwell-road. Mr. and Mrs. I. Johnson (Wanganui) ere at present visiting Mr. and Mrs. (Vavasour, “Ugbrooke.” Miss Wellwood (Napier) is the guest of Mrs. (Mowat, Springlands.
