FLUNG ASHORE IN THE NIGHT.

The mishap was caused by a heavy westerly gale creating a strung southerly S. ~ h swept -he vessel out of the channel, after she had safely crossed the bar, and brought her up ou the outside of the south breakwater where she took ground. The Alexa was afterwards floated off without damage.
