FLOWERS IN SEASON—PRIZE ROSES AT THE AUCKLAND SUMMER SHOW.
The Auckland Horticultural Society’s Summer Flower Show was held in the Choral Hall last week. The tine display of blooms, particularly the roses and sweet peas, was much admired by the large crowds which visited the exhibition. Competition was pac? icularly in the children’s sections, and the exhibits generally reflected great credit on the young horticulturists.
