Golder, photo. A FREAK TREE NEAR WAIPAWA. This peculiar free is growing near Waipawa. Hawke's Bay. The tree originally grew upright near the fence, but fell, and one of the main branches has continued to grow into a quite considerable tree at right angles to the original trunk.
