BRAVERY REWARDED. Mr. T. R. McPherson has been awarded the Stead Gold Medal by the Royal Humane Society for rescuing a man during the Strand Arcade fire under exceptionally dangerous conditions. The Stead Gold Medal is the highest award for bravery, and this is only the second time it has been awarded. See our illustrations.
