September 15. Euchre Party. Last Thursday night a very enjoyable euchre party was given by Airs. H. 'Bailey for her daughter Win, who is back from school in Wellington. . Amongst those present were: —Aliss Symes (Auckland), Aliss Hamilton (Patea), Aliss AV. Anderson, Aliss G. Christie, Aliss D. Brettargh, Alise T. Nixon, Aliss Rita Aloss (Wellington), Aliss Ruth Fairburn, Aliss H. Anderson, Aliss Baddeley, Aliss Al. Jackson, Alessrs. Reid, Sable, Brettargh, Dalgety, Addison, Chamberlain, Babbage, Anderson. Strouts, and others. The prizes were won by Mi«ss Christie, Aliss Jackson, Air. Chamberlain and Air. Sable. Bridge. Air. and Airs. E. Owing to the wet weather on Alonday, the match between the New Plymouth ladies and the Wanganui team had to be postponed. On Tuesday play started at 9.30.
