SEDDON.

August 11. Euchre Tournament. The euchre tournament, held by the Seddon Club on ’Monday evening, was again well patronised. Mr Humphreys, sen., was awarded the gentleman's prize, and Miss Horne-succeeded in winning the ladies’ trophy. A very enjoyable little dance terminated the evening’s amusement. Amongst those present at a recent picture entertainment were:—Mrs Sharp, Miss Foster, Miss C. Foster. Mesdames Wright, Humphfreys, Tregoning, etc. Coming Events. The Awatere Football Club's committee have decided to hold their social on the 24th. At a later date the committee intend giving the ladies a return ball. Personal. Mr, Mrs and Misses Foster, Starboro’. have returned home after a most enjoyable trip to Australia. Mr Crossly, who has been on a visit to Mr and Mrs Dampier Atkinson (Corea) has returned to Christchurch.
