July 7th. Euchre Party. An enjoyable Euelire Party was the one given by Mrs. C. T. Fell at “St Johns.” Mrs Fell received her guests in a becoming gown of grey brocade, with panels of handsome lace; Miss Sylvia Fell was wearing a pretty gown of white liberty satin; Miss Atkinson, navy blue silk; Mrs. H. Cock, buttercup tafl’eta; Mrs. D. Edwards, peach coloured charmeuse; Mrs. S. Gibbs, white lace over satin; Mrs. Robison, black velvet Empire gown; Mrs. C. H. Broad, grey taffeta; Miss Langley Adams, black chiffon: Miss C. Edwards, green charmeuse, with oriental galon; Misses Clark, white silk; Miss Wix, cream satin: Miss Tomlinson, rose pink satin; Misses Cock, blue charmeuse; Miss Hair, pink silk; Miss Bamford, black; Misses Booth, white chifl'on; Miss Webb, pale blue; Miss D. Bell, white chifl'on; Miss Hodson, black; Miss Gilkison, black chifl'on; others present were: —■ Messrs. Richmond, Fell, D. Edwards, 11. Cock, black net frocks; Miss G. Cock, lavender muslin; Mrs. H. C. Cock, pale blue ninon; Miss Elsie Booth, white chiffon, with gold embroidery; Miss Richmond, blaek, with lace plastrons; Miss Kirton, sky blue silk; Miss Trolove, white net; Miss F. Edwards, white taffeta; Miss C. Edwards, green satin; Miss Leggatt, black taffeta. Misses Coster, white striped silk, with mauve flowers; Miss Maginnity, vieux rose glaee; Miss Tomlinson, cream net; Miss Roberts, pink silk; Misses Clark, white gauze over silk; Miss Houlker, black spotted net; Misses Langley Adams (2), pale blue silk; Miss Stevens, geranium red brocade; Miss N. Sealey, blaek silk, with berthe of Maltese lace; Miss D. Bell, white net; Miss Haggitt (Dunedin), white spotted net; Miss Hodson, black charmeuse satin, with sequins. The prize winners were Miss M. Houlker, and Miss Maud Cock, and the other prizes fell to Miss F. Edwards, and Miss Booth. Personal. Mrs. R. S. Booth (Union Bank) and Miss D. Booth are visiting friends in Wellington. Miss Sylvia Fell has gone to Wellington. Dr. and Mrs. Gregory (North Island) are the guests of Mrs. Mules, Bishopdale. Miss D. Wix has left for Blenheim. DOLCE.
