March a. The Show. The Waikato Central Agricultural Association held their 7th annual show on Thursday and Friday, the 3rd and 4th of March. The weather, though threatening, was fine, and on Thursday there were between 500 and 000 people present, and on Friday between 0000 and 7000. The grand parade always proves interesting, and the grandstand and ring were packed before 2 p.m. to witness it. The first prize for the champion hunter (prize, a silver cup valued at £ 15 15/) was won by Mr. Frank Vosper's Doctor; Mr. Wynn Brown’s Topthorne being second. Best lady rider over three jumps 3ft Oin high: Miss Pickering, on Lullaby, first; Miss Buckland, second. Class 49, lady rider over three jumps, 3ft Oin: Ist prize, Miss Buckland. Class 50, lady rider who has never won a prize, three jumps: Miss A Harris, Ist prize. The home industries were most interesting, and the flowers were lovely, especially Mr. Wells' fine gladioli and Mr. W. F. Buekland’t flowering begonias were much admired Mr. Simpson was showing some very fine cactus dahlias, sir Joseph Ward was present at the show, being shown round by the Mayor (Mr. W. F. Buckland) and Mr. Greenslade, M.P. Amongst such a number it was most difficult to see the dresses, but 1 noticed: Mrs. MeCullagh, black chiffon taffeta, with black laee yoke and sleeves, and white crinoline hit trimmed with black and white; Mrs. McDernott. white muslin, seini-Empire style, and black hat: Mrs. Wells, black chiffon taffeta long coat and skirt, white silk vest, black and white toque; Miss IL Wells, navy blue chiffon taffeta, made in Directoire style, with white lace yoke, large blue hat trimmed with rosettes; Mrs. Jaingley .Shaw (Hamilton), tweed tailor-made coat and skirt, mole-coloured hat lined with vieux rose; Mrs. Ward (Hamilton), white linen, and white hat trimmed with black; Miss McCallum, white froek and nattier blue liat; Mrs. W. Ring (Hinuera), mauve linen trimmed with embroidery, ami black hat; Miss Helene Ring, reseda green linen, made en Princess, with yoke and sleeves of cream lace, and white hat; Miss D. Ring, white frock, and white hat with pink roses; Miss Willis, white linen coat and skirt, and large green hat with bunches of violets; Miss (.'. Willis, navy blue chiffon

Cave, blue and white spotted cambric trimmed with embroidery, white hat : Mrs. Nicoll. white linen coat and skirt, white hat lined with pale blue and trimmed with blaek wheat ears; Miss K. Willis, white and green cotton voile. Tuscan straw hat trimmed with blaek; Miss Beale, pink and white striped muslin, and Luge hat trimmed with a wreath of pink roses and pansies; Miss Brooks, white muslin frock, and pale green hat: Mrs. Tavlor, dark grey coat an.l skirt, black and mauve hat: Miss Mollie Taylor, white froek and heliotrope hat : Aliss B. Tavlor. white froek and white hat: Miss Hally, white frock and white hat; Miss Gow. white muslin and white hat: Mrs. Bun yard, brown linen coat and skirt, and brown hat. An Entertainment. On the two show nights the BelleCrome Company gave entertainments in the Public Hall, which were well attend ed. especially on the night of the ‘ People’s Day." Huddlestone, white muslin; Miss Effie Brown, pink silk, with cream laee yoke; Miss Willis, white muslin; Miss C. Willis, white silk, with yoke and sleeves of allover lace, and pink silk scarf; Miss Gwynnet’h, pink silk blouse and grey skirt; Mrs. A Stone, white embroidered muslin, with touches of blue: Miss K. Willis, pale green and white (lowered voile: Alias Wells, white silk blouse, black taffeta silk skirt: Miss H. Wells, white blouse, taffeta skirt, and white scarf embroidered with silver sequins; Aliss Williams, white embroidered Princess muslin frock; Miss Brown, white silk; Mrs. W.
