Salvation Army Boys’ Home. The Salvation Army’s Boys’ Home, built and furnished at a cost of £6OOO, a memorial gift by Envoy Jenkins, was to have been opened by the Governor last Tuesday week. In His Excellency’s absence the ceremony was performed by the Hon. W. Carncross, in the presence of a large assemblage. The home will accommodate 50, and about 20 from various parts of the Dominion are already domiciled there. The home is intended for orphans or semi-orphans.
