Topical, idiot... AIRSHIP DISASTER IN FRANCE FoFR AERONAETS KILLED. Aviation laimed its victims in woefully quick succession during September. M. Lefebvre was killed on the 7th. Captain Ferber on the 22nd. and on the 2Gth the big dirigible La Republique was dashed to pieces in its flight from La Palisse to Mendon, and two officers and two non-eoms. were killed on the spot, ill General Ro<-h examining the envelope of the airship after the accident. <2i Captain Marchal. the pilot of La Republique. who was killed in tin* accident. <3l The big dirigible setting out on the fatal voyage. The crew of four were all killed.
