A DESTRUCTIVE FIRE IN DENNISTON—DAMAGE ESTIMATED AT OVER £5000.
A big tire oecuired nt Denniston (near Westport) recently, the damage being estimated at over £s<hh>. The Denniston Hotel (a large building), four simps, two dwellings, and the chib and library were totally destroyed. while practically all the contents of a couple of other buildings were damaged. The W»stport Coal Co.’s bins and brake head works ’ ’ were saved with ditllculty.
