LEVIN, Wednesday. The weather is fine, but cold, for the Horowhenua Racing Club's meetiug to-day. The course is soft, and there is a fair attendance. Results: — Hack Flying Handicap of GOsovs, six furlongs.—Dolce, 7.10, 1; Shannon Lass, 8.5, 2; Te Roti, 7.11, 3. Won by half a length. Scratched: Waiari and Messenger. Levin Park Stakes of 80sovs, 6 furlongs.— Inez, 7.11, 1; Te Kahurangi, 7.2, 2; Te Ru, 7.0, 3. Scratched: Sir Frisco, Naumal, and Sir Antrim. Won by half a length. Maiden Hack.—Captain Bell 1, Lace Collar 2, Teotane 3. A good race. Won by half a head. Horowhenua Cup of I.jOsovs, one mile and a furlong.—Aberbrothock, 6.10, 1; Sir Frisco, 9.0, 2; King Post, 7.7, 3. Also started: All Red, Sandstream, Gaelic. Aberbrothock. led from start to finish and won by a clear length. Time, 2.3. Welter Hack Handicap of GOsovs, seven furlongs.—Notorious, 7.11, 1; Waipunui, 9.2, 2; Rangikura, 7.8, 3. Also started: Waioue, Pukewai, Stevens. Notorious won with ease by six lengths. Time, 1.29 2-5. Hack Hurdle Race of TOsovs, one mile and a half.—Waimaria, 9.6, 1; Hatley, 9.5, 2; Aotea, 9.12, 3. Also started: Rangihaeta, Tyrannic, Rawhiti, Yosami, Waipunehu, Tambour-Major. Won by two lengths. Time, 3.58 35. Electric Hack Handicap of GOsovs, four furlongs.—Purakau, 8.9, 1; Waiari, 9.5, 2; Conquestina, 8.7, 3. Also started: Waiata, Aimwell, Maika, Prevail, Undecided, Kina, Inveran, Kialoa, Captain, Baroma. Won by a length. Time, 525. SECOND DAY. LEVIN, Thursday. Splendid weather prevailed, the course was in good order, and the attendance large for the second day of the Horowhenua Racing Club’s Meeting. The totalisator turnover for the two days amounted to £7989. Levin Handicap of GOsovs, seven furlongs.—Lord Soult, 9.3, 1; Waiata, G.lO, 2; Hermia, 7.3, 3. Scratched: Inez and Purakau. Won by two lengths. Ohau Flying Hack of GOsovs, five furlongs.—Marenga, 6.13, 1; Te Roti, 7.13, 2; Aimwell, B.G, 3. Scratched: Captain Bell and Pukewai. The first three finished almost together. Moutere Hack Handicap, of GOsovs, one mile.—Aberbrothock, 10.2, 1; Sir Possible, 7.3, 2; Dolce, 9.6, 3. Scratched: Stevens. Won by two lengths. Hack Hurdle Race.—Aotea, 10.0 (Prit chard), 1; Rawhiti, 9.11, 2; Waimaria, 10.2, 3. Also started: Rangihaeta, Rendrock, Hatley, Yosami, Tambour-Major, Matlra. Time, 2.57. High-weight Handicap.— Buoyant, 8.1 (Iximbess), 1; Te Otane, 8.2, 2: Waipunui, 9.13, 3. Also started: Rangikura, Cohort, Merry Messenger. Won by a neck, a head between the second and third horses. Time, I. Hack Scurry.—Lace Collar, 8.4 (Jenkins), 1; Waiata, 9.3, 2; Undecided. 8.0, 3. Also started: Captain Bell, Prevail, Lady Paul, Lady Linton, Bravery, Amphianser, Clover, Haurakl, Inveran, Captain, Celebrity. Lace Collar got a break at the start, and was never headed.
