HOCKEY.
The championship matches under the auspices of the Auckland Hockey Association were continued on Saturday. In the senior grade the results were as follows:—University (2) v. United (1); Auckland (5) v. College Rilles (I); St. George’s (2) v. Y.M.C.A. (2) ; Grafton (4) v. Ponsonby (2). SECOND GRADE. Pimpernel (10) beat Ponsonby (3|; College Rifles (4) beat Auckland (0) ; Training College (2) beat LTnited (0) ; and St. George’s (4) defeated Epsom (1). Ladies’ Matches. Rangitira A played a drawn game with Ladies’ College, each side scoring 1 goal in a haid and evenly contested game. Rangihira A (9) beat Rawhiti (0).
