STRIKING PICTURE OF ONE OF JOHN BULL’S OCEAN POLICE.
H.M.S. Challenger, of the Australasian station, lying alongside the new Railway Wharf at Wellington. The Challenger, like all the other ships on the Station, has a first-class wireless telegraphy apparatus, by which she keeps in constant touch, not only with any other British war vessels that may hap pen to be in New Zealand waters, but also with the Admiral’s flagship in Sydney.
