April Bth. Polo Week, The polo races and sports held on Saturday were the definite ending of the polo festivities. The races were run on the racecourse in the morning. Shortly before mid-day a heat drizzle set in .which looked ominous, 'but cleared away id most immediately, and a delightfully line, cool afternoon resulted. Several of the items at the sports were highly amusing, particularly the whistling and the apple bobbin race-. In the former race the competitors had to wear ladies* epparel, and Mr. R. Abraham a«s a ballet girl, froeked in bright pink silk skirts and pink tights, in addition to an elal»orate wig which would keep falling off, provoked shrieks of laughter.
