Public notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Grey Lynn Borough Council, to be held within the Council Chamber on MONDAY. 12th day of April., 1909, a Resolution will be submitted for the Confirmation of the following Special Order, made at a Special Meeting of the said Council on Monday, Bth day of March, 1909, viz.:— "That the Grey Lynn Borough Council doth hereby, by Special Resolution, intended to operate as a Special Order, resolve: " ‘That in accordance with Section 105 of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," it is the intention of the Grey Lynn Borough Council to transfer from "Loans Account, Surrey and Sussex Wards Water Extension Account." the amount of £55 9/8, and place the said amount to the Credit of the "District Fund Account.'’ The said amount being expended for and on account of the said Special Loan out of "General Account." I hereby give notice that, in pursuance and exercise of the poweis vested in it In that behalf by "The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” and its Amendments, the Grey Lynn Borough Council, at a Special Meeting convened for that purpose, and held in the Council Chambers on MONDAY. Bth day of March. 1909, resolved as follows:— "That for the purpose of providing Interest and Sinking Fund and other charges on a Loan of £32.500 authorised to be raised by the Grey Lynn Borough Council, under the provisions of 'The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.’ and its Amendments, for the carrying out of Works, etc., as follows:— (a) Catting and Forming the Roads on the Surrey Hills Estate in accordance with the agreement with the Bank of New Zealand, £18,500; tb) Cutting and Forming Surrey Crescent and Riehmond-avenue for tram extension, £4000; (c) Drainage Extension within ’he borough, £3000; <d) Water Extension within the borough, £3000; (e) Great North-rd. Deviation Contract, £750; (f) Street Lighting, Lamps, and Fittings, £2so> ig) Improvements to the Proposed Reserve, £500; ihl Refund to Loans Account (£15,000), £1000; and (i) Out of the remaining £l5OO it is proposed to pay the cost of raising Loan, cost of a local Act of Parliament constituting the proposed reserve, first half-year’s interest, and preliminary and incidental expenses. The said Borough of Grey Lynn Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of ONE PENNY AND ONE EIGHTH OF A PENNY in the Found on the Unimproved Value of all ratable property in tLe Borough of Grey Lynn; and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rat© during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the First Day of April and October iu each, and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-three years, or until the loan is fully paid off.’’ Notice Is also hereby given that a Special Meeting of the Council will be held In the Council Chamber on MONDAY, the 12th day of April, 19<i9, at 7.45 p in., for the purpose of Confirming the said Resolution.
