Finger for a Nose.

Mr. Cornelius Snyder, of Paterson. New Jersey, recently lost his nose owing to an operation. The surgeons grafted one of Mr. Snyder’s fingers to replace the nose. His arm and head are placed in a plaster cast, and will remain thus for three weeks, when the surgeons expect that the finger will become united to his face, says a New York telegram. Then the finger will be amputated at the joint, thus giving Mr. Snyder an excellent nasal substitute, so far as appearances are concerned.
