WHEN THE FRUIT IS GATHERED
When a fruit tree has been relieved of its crop with no more (reading of the surface to follow, the soil underneath should be slightly loosened with fork, hoe, or scarifier. All good cultivators know the advantage of having the ground •open, and previous to the rain and air.
