Dear Bee, February 19. A croquet match between the Palmerston North ami Wanganui Club was played on the local courts on Saturday. lAlthough Wanganui won nine out of the it waive games played, most of the match t*s were well contested. Last week Miss Brewer gave a small bridge party for Mrs. Dodgshun. The prizes were won by Mrs. Gordon and Mrs Dodgshun. PERSONALS. Mrs. H. Stewart, of Feilding, is the guest of Mrs. R. Jackson in Wanganui. Mrs. and Miss Wilford, of Wanganui, have returned from their visit to Rotorua. Mrs. A. Lewis, of Wanganui, is staying in lEltham with her daughter, Mrs. •Koch fort. Miss Brabant, of Napier, who has been staying in Wanganui, has returned to her home. Mrs. Fairburn, of Wanganui, is staying in Palmerston North. .Mr. and Mrs. 'Mellsopp, of Palmerston North, have been staying in Wanganui. Mrs. Izard, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. Pattie Izett in Wanganui. Mrs. and Miss Stevenson, of Wanganui, left this week for a visit to relations in Dunedin. Miss Olga Levett, of Rangitikei, who has been staying in Wanganui, has returned to her home. Mrs. Hole and Mrs. Hawke, of Wanganui, have been staying in Wellington. Mrs. Lomax, of Wanganui, has returned from her visit to Auckland. Mrs. Thurlow, of Wanganui, left this week for a visit to Wellington.
