THE St EXE OF THE DISASTROUS WRECK OF THE PEXGITX. The coast line around Cape Terawhiti is very jagged and broken with sharp, treacherous rocks, it wa- amid such surroundings, in a furious sea. that the tragedy was enacted by which -evcnty-tve live- out of a total of on and five were lost. The boats were flung against the rocks and dashed to pieces. Our photo shows the melancholy remnant that was left to tell it- own tale when morning broke a-ro— the nigh; of horror.
