The Novelty of the Week.
PARASOLS MADE OF CRETONNE. The parasol that is most in request this summer at the smartest French watering-places is made of cretonne with a white silk lining. Gay and charming indeed are these sun umbrellas, and of a reasonable size, too, made for utility as well as for ornament. To the shelter of her cretonne shade goes the bather when she has attended to he.r toilet and dressed again after her sea bath.
