Orange Blossoms.
GVTHIttE—LEVEIN. On Wednesday afternoon Miss Ruth Levein, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs 0. H. Levein, Albert-street, Palmerston North, was married to Mr John Bryce Guthrie, of “Uira,” Ruahine, at St. Peter’s Church, Terrace End. The church had been prettily decorated by the girl friends of the bride, and the bride and bridegroom stood under a bell of white flowers. The bride, who was given away by her father, was becomingly dressed in cream Louissine silk, the bodice trimmed with Brussels net and silver cord. She also wore a lovely lace veil over a wreath of orange blossoms, and carried a bouquet of white heath and smylax. The bridesmaids were Miss Levein (sister of the bride) and Miss Guthrie (sister of the bridegroom). Miss Levein wore primrose yellow muslin and white picture hat, and carried a bouquet of yellow jonquils and heath, tied with black velvet streamers. Miss Guthrie, pale heliotrope muslin, white picture hat, and bouquet of (violets and ferns, with violet ribbon streamers. The bridesmaids wore gold Tings, the gifts of the bridegroom. The (bridegroom was attended by Mr T. Beckett (Marton) as best man, and Mr T. R. Moore (Feildingi as groomsman. The Rev. G. W. Davidson performed the ceremony. The bride’s travelling dress was a green striped tweed coat and skirt, violet straw hat, with ostrich plume.
