THE MARCH OF THE MOTOR. Except a few of the old school, who cling to the customs of their forefathers, the wealthy people at Home have abandoned horses for the motor car. This photograph, taken at the Goodwood races, shows how universal the motor has become. If you look very closely in the lower right hand corner you will notice four horses —the only representatives of their kind at this fashionable gathering—that is of course for transport purposes.
