' It would not be easy to over-estimate the importance of being comfortably, as ■well as charmingly, attired, during those hours which are spent at home, when the more ceremonious garments of outdoor wear can be put aside, and the art of Combining convenience and ease with a most becoming daintiness, the tea-gowns jmd matinees are always much in demand. Their latest developments, too, are particularly attractive, the Empire Style, which is enjoying such long-con-tinued favour, being, of course, ideally Suited to such purposes and permitting of some very pretty arrangements, that tea-gown of the picture, for example, being a garment which will lend grace to the figure. © © ©
