Friendly Family Parties.
It is a wise, pleasant custom for young married folk “to keep in” with the fa mi lies, friends, and connections of both sides. Occasional little friendly parties, at which ‘•his” relatives meet “hers,” not only promote family harmony, but they keep together people who may later on prove most valuable friends to your little “Miss” or “Master” So-andso, now in swaddling clothes. “Be wisely worldly, but not worldly wise.”
