A NEW GOOSEBERRY: KEEPSAKE.
This is a heavy green gooseberry of lent flavour; it is robust —a sure and Viiiuense cropper. It may l»e picked green for market, bottling, ete., generally a fortnight earlier than Wliinham’s Industry, hence its extraordinary value; and, besides this, the skin is thick, and it is therefore a capital berry for travelling and keeping. Tn Isittles it has a splendid appearance. The fruit is protected by the ample foliage. J*
