BAPTIST JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS AT AUCKLAND.
GROUP TAKEN AT THE “CITIZENS’ DINNER - ’ IN THE TABERNACLE SCHOOLROOM LAST WEEK. The luncheon, which was a great success ami very largely attended, was presided over by the Rev. R. H. Knowles-Kempton Mr. A. C. Caughey. President of the local Y.M.C.A., made an eloquent speech in support of Sunday Schools, to promote the work of which was the object of the luncheon. Donations of £lO from Mr. Justice Cooper and £5O from Dr. Knight were announced, and many smaller sums were subscribed in the hall.
