PAPAKURA RACING CLUB’S ANNUAL MEETING.

The annual race meeting of the Papakura Ila« lug Chib was held on the Papakura racecourse on Halm day lust hi tine weather, and attracted a large attendance. Time 1.20. Explosive was favourite. Flying Handicap of 20sovs, second 2sovs, five furlongs.—Mr. W. (1. Irwin’s bg Lochbuie, 4yrs, by Cyrenian—Sappho, 9.0 (Deeley), 1; Waihou, 8.0 (Ackroyd), 2; San Paulo (carried) 8.3 (Scott), 3 The only starters. Ryan), Confide, 8.0 (Barr). San Paulo, carried 8.3 (Scott). Engraver and Confide made the running just clear of Flint Island for about three furlongs, where the latter took charge, but failed to stall off a challenge by Ngapuka, which won by half a lengtu.
